YG Releases Update After G-Dragon Falls Through Stage Hole During Concert

Fans were in for a scare when G-Dragon fell through a hole that suddenly opened up in the midst of a performance.

On July 8th, G-Dragon was attending the second night of the Bangkok stop of his  “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E.” world tour. During his song, a lift-opening somehow appeared behind him. Luckily, the idol was turning the moment he fell in and appeared to come back out relatively uninjured to continue the rest of the concert.

Check out a small fan-cam compilation of the incident:

Fortunately, a representative from YG Entertainment provided an update, reassuring fans that G-Dragon was unharmed. “The lift was correctly timed to open up at that moment,” he explained. “G-Dragon was just so immersed in his performance that he happened to miss the timing. Thankfully, he landed on his feet without injury and said he could continue with the rest of the concert.”

It was also reported that G-Dragon was fine enough to spend some time with staff after the concert.

We’re relieved to hear that he is okay! What do you think of the whole situation?
