Winners Announced Of 2020 Korean Popular Culture And Arts Awards

The winners of the 2020 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards have been revealed!

On October 28th,  the winners were unveiled of the prestigious awards ceremony. The Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards are an annual awards ceremony run by the South Korean government and hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).

The awards first began in 2010 as a way to honor those who made outstanding contributions to the fields of contemporary pop culture and the arts. This includes those in the industries of music, acting, television, modeling, and more.

Awards from four categories are given throughout the night. The highest award of the night is the Order of Cultural Merit, followed by the Presidential Commendation, the Prime Minister’s Commendation, and the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation.

The awards ceremony will be held this year on November 1st at 6 p.m. KST and will be broadcast live on the KOCCA YouTube and V Live channels, as well as on SBS MTV.
