YOUNITE is back with their sixth EP ANOTHER featuring the title track “GEEKIN” released on May 1st at 6 p.m. KST.
The intense hip-hop song dynamically shows off the free and hip mood of YOUNITE with an addictive whisper of the signature phrase “why you GEEKIN.” The punchy bassline and rough textured drum groove paint the image of a boxer in the ring and immediately catches the ear.
YOUNITE members Steve and DEY participated in writing lyrics and penned their rap verses, enriching the song with their unique colors. Along with On the road who composed and arranged the track, maximizing the hip-hop style as expected from a seasoned producer of the group’s company — renowned hip-hop label BRAND NEW MUSIC.
The “GEEKIN” music video captures the song’s aforementioned free and hip mood and combines it with a boxing theme. Check out the MV below!
