Singer YENA returns with her third single album NEMONEMO on September 30th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “NEMONEMO” is an electronic dance song that combines a millennial sound with “MZ generation” sensibility. The song playfully compares the angularity of a couple’s relationship to a square with sharp edges.
Rapper Zico participated in writing lyrics for “NEMONEMO.” YENA and Zico have been close since they were young due to both their brothers — Choi Sungmin and Woo Taewoon, respectively — being in the same K-pop group, SPEED.
Meanwhile, additional lyricists on the track include Nathan, Roho, and GESTURE (PRISMFILTER) while the composition is the collective work of Nathan, Hong Hun Gi, Ohway!, Kako, GESTURE, view, Nmore, and Alum (PRISMFILTER).
The music video for “NEMONEMO” is filled with vibrant colors and a quirky style. It visualizes the concept presented in the lyrics and tells the story of YENA receiving multiple confessions before ultimately making her final choice.
The third single album NEMONEMO also contains two B-Side tracks that continue to convey different facets of love.
