On December 8th KST, global girl group XG released their first ever holiday single, “WINTER WITHOUT YOU,” along with its music video!
The song is a melancholic expression of longing for someone special as they go through winter without them. Its lyrics were written by Chancellor, JAKOPS, Paulina “PAU” Cerrilla, and Knave while Chancellor, JAKOPS, Shintaro Yasuda, and David Park composed the track.
Accompanying the emotional single is a music video set in an icy landscape where the girls spend the holiday away from their loved ones, finding warmth in the brief communication they receive from Earth and each other’s presence.
XG is a seven-member hip-hop/R&B group with an intergalactic concept under XGALX. It is composed of Chisa, Hinata, Jurin, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona. All of the members are Japanese and are based in South Korea with a discography sung in English (as of the time of writing)
