On June 19th at 6 p.m. KST, WOODZ (Cho Seungyeon) launched a solo album as well as a music video for his lead track, “Love Me Harder”!

The song was written by WOODZ himself and co-composed with POPTIME and NATHAN. Its accompanying music video follows the singer as he goes on a chase to find a mysterious alter ego that kept taunting him, desperately wanting to retrieve his memories.

His first mini-album entitled EQUAL comes in two CD versions as well as a Kihno version. It has seven tracks that WOODZ helped compose and write. Fellow artists Colde and Punchnello also took part in recording some of the songs.

WOODZ debuted as Cho Seungyoun in 2014 with in Yuehua Entertainment‘s South Korean-Chinese boygroup, UNIQ. He competed in the hit idol survival program “Produce X 101” in 2019 and became part of the winning line-up for the experimental team X1 until its disbandment earlier this year.
