Song Mino has made his official solo debut!
On November 26th at 6 p.m. KST, the talented WINNER artist dropped his music video for “FIANCÉ.” The beautiful music video is an aesthetic treat, mixing scenes of subdued tones and scenery with setting of dark colors and fierce sets. The addition of a stark contrast between traditional and modern costumes and visuals proves to be interesting and unique. The traditional versus contemporary vibe is also echoed in the sound of the track and makes for a song that is bound to please fans.
“FIANCÉ” is the title track off Mino’s new solo album, XX. The release of this full studio album marks Mino’s official solo debut. Before now, he has participated as a member of WINNER, as well as part of the duo MOBB with iKON‘s Bobby. He has also been a featuring artist on numerous tracks but this is his first release as a solo artist.
Mino previously revealed that he has been constantly working with YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk to prepare for his debut, staying in the studio from 1 p.m. to 4 or 5 p.m. every day. As it is unusual for Yang Hyun Suk to be so personally involved with his artists’ albums, Mino’s statement made fans anticipate his new album even more.
