On September 14th at 6 p.m. KST, Weki Meki‘s Yoojung dropped her first single album and the music video for its title track, “Sunflower.”
Written by the singer herself with Ellie Suh (153/Joombas), the R&B pop song sings of making the most of the moment and recognizing that time stops for no one so you have to make the best memories. Alina Smith(153/Joombas), Gino Barletta, Scott Bruzenak, and Annalise Morelli composed the track.
Sunflower is Choi Yoojung’s debut single album and contains two additional titles: “Tip Tip Toes” and “OWL.” She previously joined the hit survival show “Produce 101” in 2016 and placed third in the finale, making her a member of project group I.O.I. After the group disbanded in 2017, she and fellow I.O.I graduate Doyeon were introduced as part of Fantagio’s eight-person team, Weki Meki.
