A new girl group has joined the fray!
On June 30th at 12:00 a.m. KST, Play M Entertainment has pre-released the debut music video for their rookie team, Weekly!
Titled “Tag Me (@Me),” the song is an upbeat track that just oozes out youthful energy. Its accompanying music video continues the bubbly feel with a sweet schoolgirl concept that shows the group as they dance and have fun.
Weeekly is officially set to release their first album called We Are today at 6 p.m. KST which will then be followed by their debut showcase at 8 p.m. KST. Member Jiyoon was revealed to have participated in writing and composing for their songs.
The group is composed of seven members and is the first female idol team to debut under Play M Entertainment in 10 years. The same agency is home to stars like Apink, VICTON, and Bandage.
