WayV ushered in a new era on March 10th at 8 p.m. KST with the release of their latest album along with the music video for its title track, “Kick Back”!
The R&B-type dance song describes the experience of breaking free from reality and preparing to resolutely take the future in hand. Its was written by YTP and composed by Harold Philippon, Jasmine Kara Khatib-Nia, Keynon “KC” Moore, and Ryan S. Jhun. Alawn and Yoo Young Jin took charge of its arrangement.
The group’s third mini-album, which is also called Kick Back, includes six tracks and comes in two versions: “Stranger” and “Hitchhiker.” An online showcase was scheduled to air on the comeback date (at 6 p.m. CST/7 p.m. KST on Twitter, Youtube, and VLIVE) to introduce their latest EP and to show off a performance of their comeback single.
WayV is the Chinese sub-unit of SMTOWN‘s global group, NCT. They were launched in 2019 and previously returned in June 2020 with the studio album, Awaken The World and “Turn Back Time.“
