On June 10th at around 1 a.m. KST, WayV finally revealed the music video of their newest lead single, “Turn Back Time”!
The urban trap song expresses the group’s lofty ambitions of conquering bigger stages and comes with a music video that features each member in an futuristic and uncanny containment of their own. Yoo Young Jin, Moonshine, DEEZ, Mike Daley, and LDN Noise all worked together for its production while members YangYang and Hendery both wrote lyrics for the track.
WayV’s first full-length album called Awaken The World was released earlier on June 9th at 6 p.m. KST and has a tracklist of 10 new songs for eager fans to sample. The music video was initially scheduled to be revealed at the same time but a few corrections had to be made at the last minute, pushing its debut several hours back.
The group last returned with a second mini-album called Take Over the Moon in October 2019. A special follow-up named Take Over the Moon – Sequel was then released on March 2020.
