New 7-member rookie boy group W.A.O (pronounced as We Are The One) from company King Top Entertainment made their debut on April 22th KST!
Their hot debut track, “On The Fire,” is a pop dance song that combines strong synths with a moombahton rhythm and compares love to a blessing. It was written and composed by artist and producer Bull$EyE along with Aaron.H who has worked with AB6IX, BDC, and Yukika.
The debut album also contains the b-side track, “Fairplay,” which shows a different side to W.A.O with lyrics that liken a complicated relationship to an unfair game. Bull$EyE also wrote and composed this song, this time with producers Ondine, EastWest, and Dopplay.
The group has an average age of 19 years old and consists of members Pilip, Guwon, Hyeongseok, Rio, Changhyun, Donghwa, and Noa. Pilip and Hyeongseok were previously in the group, ASTIN (as Seungjun and Hyeongseok, respectively), that was also signed to their current agency.
W.A.O is a heavily-armed group with various charms and solid skills that have only gotten more polished with a long period training. They are currently receiving enthusiastic responses not only in Korea but also abroad, gaining more than 10K followers on their official SNS just days after debuting.
