VICTON thrilled fans with their first full album along with a music video for its title track, “What I Said,” on January 11th at 6 p.m. KST.
The commanding Latin-tinged song talks about the group’s drive to make their dreams come true. It was written by member Hanse with YOUHA and Hwang Yoobin and composed by Scott Stoddart, Daniel Kim, Tim Hawes, Ryan Jhun, and YOUHA.
VICTON’s VOICE: The Future Now contains a total 13 songs including solos for Seungsik, Chan, Sejun, and Hanse. The members took part in writing lyrics and composing for the album.
Their comeback was originally scheduled for release last December but was pushed back after the group was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in late November. VICTON, along with their agency’s staff members, took precautionary measures and went into quarantine.
Their label then announced that they will be rescheduling their promotional activities due to difficulties brought in by tighter restrictions and a spike in COVID-19 cases.
“What I Said” comes around seven months after the release of their second single album, “Mayday.” Member Han Seungwoo notably made his solo debut with Fame and its lead single, “Sacrifice,” back in August.

Katherine has been an ELF since 2010. She reads just about anything and is raising a pride of demanding cats. She has finished TGCF, 2ha, and SVSS. She’ll probably get to reading MDZS next before hunting down other novels. Can’t wait to suffer with Chu Wanning in Immortality!
