Returning with new music for the first time in over a year on December 1st at 6 p.m. KST, VT Entertainment boy group VANNER dropped their second single album Life along with the music video for their explosive title track, “Form.”
The song takes elements of heavy hard rock guitars, combining them with unique synthesizers to create an emphasis on angst and fun while also establishing the group’s distinctive musical colors. Main rapper Gon helped pen the lyrics and took part in composing the song. Lead rapper Axhian also contributed to the writing process.
The music video stars celebrity drag artist Nana Youngrong Kim, who has been featured in other K-pop MVs such as Mamamoo‘s “Hip,” Brown Eyed Girls‘ “Wonder Woman,” and Holland‘s “I’m Not Afraid.” The five members of VANNER further express the track’s theme through the powerful choreography and charismatic performance.
VANNER made their official debut in early 2019 after a period of pre-debut promotions in Japan where they carried out more than 200 performances. Attracting attention not only domestically, the group held a successful U.S. concert tour at the start of 2020 which strongly delighted their American fans.
Additionally, VANNER’s second single album shows fans new sides of the group through the members’ direct participation in creating their music, concept, styling, choreography and more.
