WATCH: Urban Zakapa Releases Sentimental “When We Were Two” MV

Urban Zakapa is back with yet another gorgeous track!

The ever popular ballad trio have shown off their vocals and melancholy style through their newest song “그때의 나, 그때의 우리 (When We Were Two).” The soft song speaks of reminiscing over lost love and the video well represents the song’s lyrics by following the story of a young couple with a sad, but plausible twist at the end. The track is a soft, but powerful ballad that is just in time to represent the feeling of winter that quickly approaches.

Popular actress Lee Sung Kyung (“Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo,” “Cheese in the Trap,” “It’s Okay It’s Love”) and actor Choi Taejoon (“Missing Nine,” “Girl Who Sees Smells,” “Suspicious Partner”) play the parts that of the main couple. They easily show off their strong chemistry as acting partners due to a personal friendship between the two of nearly 10 years.

Urban Zakapa is a singer-songwriter R&B trio that was formed back in 2009 and originally had nine members. Following their drop to only three members, the group released multiple hit tracks that would reach anywhere between #50 to #1 on the charts and they would continue to uphold that trend for years to come.

Urban Zakapa has become known as one of the “representative sentimental groups” in Korean music which is an honor considering the popularity of ballads, OSTs, and tender music throughout the country. The only female member of the group, Jo Hyuna, is currently active as a mentor on the idol rebooting program “The Unit.”

“When We Were Two” was released as a single EP and succeeds EPs “I Don’t Love You,” “Thursday Night,” and “Alone” that were released last year.
