The rising girl group with a multinational line-up, UNIS, has returned with their first single album CURIOUS, and the music video for the title song of the same name on August 6th at 6 p.m. KST!
The track, whose Korean title directly translates to “Only You Don’t Know,” is a cute interpretation of the chic attitude of Gen-Z girls on stage. With a strong electronic guitar sound that gives an unconventional feeling, “CURIOUS” breaks away from conventional song structure. Meanwhile, the sporty lyrics are about reimagining one’s wannabe ambitions and breaking down inner walls.
Through the song, UNIS expresses the dynamic development of girls through self-transformation, in addition to appealing to their value individually and as a collective with energetic vocals, various emotions, and honest language.
“CURIOUS” was written by Seo Ga Yeon and Rizin of 153/Joombas, and Choi Ji Ae of Jamfactory. Meanwhile, the composition is the work of Ryan Jhun, Marc Sibley, Nathan Cunningham, Lauren Aquilina, Marcus Andersson, Allison Kaplan, Cimon Frankel and Rik Annema.
The music video for the song expands on the theme of self-transformation, showcasing a brand new side to the eight-member group in a fun and quirky concept.
UNIS’s first single album CURIOUS contains three tracks and continues to prove the octet’s “global super rookie” title.
