WATCH: TWICE’s Nayeon Brings The Fluttery Feels With “POP” MV

TWICE‘s Nayeon becomes the group’s first solo act on June 24th KST with the release of her album and a music video for its title track, “POP!”

Bright and lively, the song cutely warns about wanting to smother someone in their charms until their heart bursts. It was written by Lee Seuran and composed by KENZIE, Hayden Chapman, Greg Bonnick, and Ellen Berg. Meanwhile, LDN Noise created the arrangement.

Nayeon is the first TWICE member to make her solo debut. Her mini-album, which is also called POP, has seven songs in total and features fellow artists Felix from Stray Kids and singer-rapper Wonstein. She is listed as a co-writer of the lyrics of her B-side tracks, “Love Countdown” and “All or Nothing.”

Prior to her comeback, JYP Entertainment shared that pre-orders for her EP has shot past 500,000. This puts Nayeon at the top of the list of the highest album pre-order numbers for female soloists this year!
