On December 26th, TVXQ, the great legends of Kpop, celebrated their 15th anniversary with a new album!
Entitled New Chapter #2: The Truth of Love, this is a follow-up to New Chapter #1: The Chance of Love which was released nine months ago as their first Korean comeback after returning from mandatory military service.
The lead song, entitled “Truth”, is an R&B pop song with a jazz foundation. With Max’s “scat” inspired vocals and the cool beat of the song, the track shows off a mature, sophisticated vibe for the duo. Meanwhile, the lyrics convey the feeling of finding the love meant for you after having experienced the agony of a painful parting.
The album itself with contain seven tracks, including two solo tracks. Changmin‘s solo which he co-wrote is called “Beautiful Stranger.” Meanwhile, Yunho‘s solo is named “City Lights” and features NCT‘s Taeyong.
TVXQ will be holding an anniversary fan meeting, TVXQ Special Day “The Truth of Love,” later today at 8 p.m. KST at the Hwajung Gymnasium at Korea University.
