On June 28th at 6 p.m. KST, TREASURE introduced their first sub-unit through the release of a single and it’s music video, “MOVE!”
Written and co-composed by member JUNKYU, it is a dance song with a rhythmic bass and strong synth sounds that expresses the intense passion of romantic attraction.
TREASURE’s T5 is composed of JUNGHWAN, JUNKYU, JIHOON, JAEHYUK, and DOYOUNG. According to YG founder Yang Hyunsuk, the members chosen by selecting those who raised their hands after the group was asked if they thought they were the most handsome in the group.
TREASURE was originally a 12-member group that was formed through a trainee survival show called “YG TREASURE BOX” in 2019. They are currently active as 10 and are planning to greet fans with a full-group comeback in August after sub-unit promotions wrap up.
