This week, the first trailer was released for the upcoming OCN thriller drama, “Save Me.’’
Directed by Kim Seong-soo, “Save Me’’ is the live action adaptation of the webtoon “Out of the This World,” written by Jo Geum-san, which revolves around a woman who tries to escape a pseudo religious group. A group of jobless guys hear the voice of that woman asking for help and attempt to rescue her through a series of spine-chilling events.
2PM’s pride Ok Taecyeon (“Let’s Fight Ghost”) will be playing the male lead, Han Sang Hwan, a warm-hearted guy who is the governor’s son. So Ye Ji (“Hwarang”) will be acting as Im Sang Mi, the woman who asks for help to save her and her father who are entangled in the religious cult. Jo Song Ha (“K2”) will play the wicked leader of the cult who controls the town with his evil beliefs. Woo Do Wan (“Shut Up Flower Boy Band”) will play as one of Sang Hwan’s friends who will help the woman, and David Lee (“Let’s Fight Ghost”) was also cast as one of Sang Hwan’s associate.
“Save Me” is set to air on August 5th at 10 p.m. KST.
