Tiffany Young captivates fans in her new music video!
On August 2nd at 1 p.m. KST, the SNSD star and current solo artist released her newest single, “Magnetic Moon.” The medium-tempo disco-electronica song describes the magnetic attraction a person feels towards another.
The music video for the track was released at the same time and combines disco and old-school glamor to create an artful result that perfectly embodies Tiffany’s brand.
The idol herself worked tirelessly to mold the project according to her vision, tackling composition, writing, concept creation, and even personally helping to direct the project. Tiffany stated that the track is “a song for everyone that sparkles at night in the moonlight.”
She further explained that, “Some [of] my best writing and recording sessions are in the latest hours looking up at the moon, and there’s a special creative energy it brings out of me that I wanted to capture in the music video. On set I felt like the moon inspired my dance and performance. The moon can pull something special out of us. and pull us together…”
Meanwhile, Tiffany will be debuting “Magnetic Moon” at her “Open Hearts Eve” concert in Seoul on August 3rd KST.
Tiffany was also recently confirmed to be participating in Disney’s new music initiative called “True Original Summer of Music.” She will be making an appearance on August 25th during the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California. On October 25th, she will kick off her 18-city tour, entitled the North American Magnetic Moon Tour, with a show in San Francisco.
