Thunder has unveiled his first release in two years called “5 Seconds Before Explosion” on August 6th at 6 p.m. KST!
The R&B hip-hop song was written by Thunder, Born Kim, and Gowoon who also composed the track with arranger, Kazef. Rhythmical drum & base creates a drowsy atmosphere while the lyrics sympathize with the difficult times of life and convey comfort.
Sublime Artist Agency trainee Yoon Seobin from “Produce X 101” is featured in the song, showing his artistic side with his participation in composing the track.
Thunder is an ex-member of idol boy group MBLAQ and the younger brother of former 2NE1 member, Dara. He made his solo debut in 2016 with the mini-album Thunder in which he heavily participated in writing and composing each song.
He also writes and produces for other artists, most notably close friend Earth Kim (former HIGH4 member Sunggu, previously known as Reno) on his solo debut. Additionally, as a talented model and actor, Thunder became the very first Korean idol to star in an Indonesian film in 2017, playing the male lead in Korean-Indonesian movie “Forever Holiday In Bali.”
