On May 16th at 6 p.m. KST, Withus Entertainment officially launched their first-ever boy group The Wind along with a music video for their debut track, “ISLAND.”
The lead single was written by KZ and DINT while KZ, Nthonius, Meisobo, DINT, and 1984 composed the song. Its lyrics express a sense of wonderment and free-spirited pursuit of adventure paired with powerful drum beats along with a groovy bass line.
Their debut mini-album, titled Beginning: The Wind Page, contains the story of the members whose hard work and dreams have kept them going beyond their difficult trainee days to achieve their long-awaited debut.
The Wind has an average age of around 17 years old and their group name expresses their aspiration to bring healing as a cool breeze does. In addition, they aim to display a versatile image like the wind which changes according to the season and bring comfort or give strength as needed.
