Almost two years since their debut mini album Various Colors and it’s title track “Free Fall,” Stardium Entertainment “multi-tainer” boy group THE MAN BLK returned on July 24th KST with their long-awaited second mini-album, Evergreen!
The title track called “Time Turner” is a charming future-pop song with dreamy guitar rhythms, intense synthesizers, and beautiful melodies. Fairytale-like lyrics are delivered through the members’ vocal harmonies and sincere tones, creating a rich sensibility of emotions. Its music video is filled with refreshing vivid visuals, adding to the magical charm captured within the song, and highlighting each member’s professional acting experience.
THE MAN BLK’s second mini album Evergreen contains a total of four tracks of genres ranging from retro urban dance, synth-pop, and mid-tempo piano ballads. Popular OST composer RUNY who is known for “Her Private Life” and “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty” took charge in producing the album.
Currently a seven-member group, after members Sungyong, Seung and Hyeongseok announced their departures on June 24th KST, THE MAN BLK has a flexible member concept where they promote as both a full group and in units.The members themselves can discuss with the company if they want to join promotional activities and for this comeback, five members decided to participate.
Making their acting debut in the web drama “GOvengers” in 2018, the group of actors who ventured into music had previously dabbled in various mediums such as dramas, movies, OSTs, advertisements, and YouTube. Most notably, leader Jinhwan recently appeared in the web drama “Gaduri Restaurant” which also stars VIXX’s Hyuk.
Main rapper Junwon, former “BOYS24” contestant Chanyi, and main vocalist Woojin also acted in popular webdrama “Best Mistake,.” Multi-positional vocalist, rapper, and model Seungho will be starring in upcoming BL (boys love) web drama “Mister Heart” opposite former “Produce X 101” contestant Lee Sejin.
