WATCH: The KingDom Discovers A New Identity In “Flip that Coin” MV

The KingDom — formerly known simply as Kingdom, known best for their historical fantasy concept has returned with a new name and fresh look that brings the group’s lore into the present.

On April 30th at 6 p.m. KST, the septet released their eighth mini-album REALIZE and the music video for “Flip that Coin.”

The title song is a hybrid-pop track that combines various genres such as slap house, hip-hop, and R&B. It contains a heavy bass line and addictive chorus accompanied by the sound of a coin hitting the floor and luxurious vocals. The unique sounds in the second half of the song powerfully convey the group’s message of creating a new destiny for themselves.

“Flip that Coin” is the work of various members of producing team D_answer including Kevin_Dae, 1000, DDANK, and Zamun, as well as Andrew Choi, LUZY, Charlotte Wilson, and Ebenezer.

REALIZE is the first album released after rebranding as The KingDom, it also signals a departure between the group’s album series Chapter 1 ‘History Of Kingdom’, which consisted of seven parts, and the start of a new Chapter 2.
