On December 7th at 6 p.m KST, THE BOYZ kicked off holiday celebrations with the release of “Christmassy!” which is from a special single album of the same name.
The song is a gift to the group’s fans “The B” for their 3rd anniversary and is the follow up to last December’s winter single “White,” a remake of girl group Fin.K.L’s 1999 hit.
“Christmassy!” is a pop/house song with an addictive melody, blended with classic Christmas music tropes such as sleigh bells and other carol-like instruments. The unique boyish vocals of THE BOYZ create the perfect atmosphere for the season, singing warm confessions to flutter the hearts of listeners.
The music video concept is inspired by American prom in teen movies, with scenes being filmed entirely on an iPhone to capture the candid nature of such an event. The sweet charms of THE BOYZ are on full display as they adorably confess to fans and ask them be their date for a Christmas party.
