On August 9th at 6 p.m. KST, THE BOYZ made their highly-anticipated official comeback after 11 months with their sixth mini-album THRILL-ING and its title track, “THRILL RIDE.”
Containing addictive sounds and dynamic composition, the song is layered with attractive rhythms and unique hip-hop elements. It was composed by Albin Nordqvist and Gabriel Brandes who have collectively worked on some of K-pop’s biggest hits.
Lyricist Jo Yoonkyung wrote the song while THE BOYZ members Sunwoo and Eric participated in penning the lyrics. THRILL-ING includes a total of six summery tracks, with member Q making additional contributions to lyrics on the album.
Representing the hot summer, the music video displays THE BOYZ and their refreshing coolness. The dance is particularly appealing due to its fun vibes and the members’ energetic performances amidst the vibrant sets and colorful visuals.
Following the group’s victory on Mnet’s “Road To Kingdom” and subsequent appearance on its sequel “Kingdom: Legendary War,” THE BOYZ demonstrated immense growth through their performances. With the release of THRILL-ING, they continue to showcase refined skills and irresistible charms through this exciting summer song.
