THE BOYZ is back with their seventh mini-album BE AWARE on August 16th at 6 p.m. KST!
The title track “Whisper” contains retro 808 bass that is combined with futuristic synth sounds. It is a song that is beaming with the group’s signature bright and boyish charms.
Members Jacob and Sunwoo penned the lyrics alongside seasoned K-pop lyricist Jo Yoonkyung. It describes the wave of emotion that unfolds as you fall in love, in particular the moment dopamine starts to bloom. The track was composed by legendary American bass player and producer Willie Weeks, in addition to multi-award-winning, multi-platinum songwriter Kyler Niko.
The MV flows with delightful visuals which gives viewers the dopamine hit that is conveyed within the lyrics. Check out the charming MV for “Whisper” below!
