TEMPEST is back!

On September 20th at 6 p.m. KST, the group released their first single album and a music video for its title track, “Vroom Vroom.”

The song expresses their resolve to find their way to you even when they get lost and encounter confusing paths along their journey. It was penned by TWLVLew, and Hwarang while Johnny André Vinje Brist, Per Oscar Eklund, Øyvind Tønnesen, and TWLV composed the track.

Into The TEMPEST marks the group’s first single album and has a total of three songs included: “Vroom Vroom,” “Dive,” and “Bluetooth.” According to their agency, the album aims to show TEMPEST’s determination to “continue to take meaningful steps at our own pace and depth, regardless of the opinions of those around us, and realize that ‘we are together in every step.'”

TEMPEST is a seven-member boy group under Yuehua Entertainment composed of Hanbin, Hyungseop, Hyuk, Eunchan, Lew, Hwarang, and Taerae. They debuted in March 2022 with the song “Bad News” and the mini-album, It’s Me, It’s We.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
