WATCH: Taemin Is Ready To Make His “MOVE” In Solo Comeback MV

SHINee member Taemin is blowing minds and showing off his incredible style once again in an all-new solo music video!

On October 16th at 6 p.m. KST, the music video for Taemin’s newest solo track “MOVE” was dropped. The track follows the sexy and sophisticated style that Taemin has become known for ever since his solo debut back in 2014. It is an upbeat dance track that boasts a funky bass-line and techno-rock influence reminiscent of “vogue” style 1980s music. The addicting hook and repeating phrase “you got, got the rhythm” will easily keep you listening and wanting more.

The lyrics for “MOVE” convey Taemin’s interest in someone as he admires their moves from afar before then making his own “move.” Koharu Sugawara was the choreographer for “MOVE,” and is known for that distinct sensual and smooth style before suddenly hitting with sharp movements. She also makes an appearance in the music video as she dances along-side Taemin in the rain. This is the second time Koharu Sugawara has worked with Taemin, as she also created the dance for his Japanese track, “Sayonara Hitori (Solitary Goodbye).”

“MOVE” is the title track of Taemin’s second full album of the same name. “MOVE” is also Taemin’s fifth solo music video and directly follows his successful tours in both Japan (1st Stage In Budokan) and Korea (OFF-SICK). A performance version video for “MOVE” was also posted on YouTube along with the full music video.

Check out both videos below, then definitely let us know what you think!

UPDATED: On October 17th KST, SMTOWN dropped the third version of “MOVE.” The new version is a duet danced by Taemin and his choreographer, the fabulous Koharu Sugawara. The video made fans rave about how well-matched the two are and how they hope to see more collaborations from them in the future. The new video can also be viewed below.
