On February 17th at 6 p.m. KST, Suzy made her long-awaited return as a singer with the release of her digital single, “Satellite”!
She helped pen lyrics for the track alongside singer, songwriter, and producer Kang Hyunmin. Expressing emotions filled with longing and pain, Suzy sings about gravitating towards someone who dances beyond her reach. Monika, leader of the dance crew PROWDMON which made an impressive run in the reality show “Street Woman Fighter” last year, took centerstage in the music video.
“Satellite” is Suzy’s first musical release in roughly four years and her agency, Management SOOP, shares that this comeback offers a different feel from her previous showcases. She started out as a member of JYP Entertainment‘s Miss A (2010) and made her acting debut in the 2011 drama “Dream High” alongside many talented idols and actors like Kim Soo Hyun, IU, 2PM‘s Taecyeon and Wooyoung, and T-ara‘s Eunjung.
