Singer-songwriter Suran has finally dropped the music video for her new song “1+1=0” on June 2nd KST.
“1+1=0” is one of five great new songs on her first album, entitled Walkin’. This is Suran’s first mini-album following seven digital singles.
Dean, Swings, and Changmo are all collaborating artists for various songs on the mini-album. BTS member Suga also had his hand in the album by producing her song “If I Get Drunk Today,” which was featured as a digital single beforehand. Suran has collaborated with many impressive artists over the past three years for both their projects and hers to include Primary, Agust D (Suga), BeWhy, LOCO, and ZICO.
The music video shows the sad life of a girl who barely gets through her harsh work environment every day and dreams of an amazing beach holiday in the future. Suran’s unique, smooth vocals mix well with Dean’s similar R&B vibe to create a well-balanced song.
Originally having debuted as part of the duo Lodia in 2014, this is only one of many solo songs and producing endeavors for Suran.
