WATCH: Super Junior’s Yesung Holds On To Lingering Memories In “Scented Things” MV

On October 4th at 6 p.m. KST, Super Junior‘s Yesung made his solo comeback with his latest EP along with a music video for its title track, “Scented Things!”

Written, composed, and arranged by Daniel Kim, the indie pop song features a notable acoustic sound and sings about how the “scent” of someone who has already gone away still remains vividly embedded in their memories.

Yesung’s fifth mini-album Unfading Sense includes six songs in total and is the final installment in his “Sense Series.” He participated in writing and composing the B-side track “I am” and worked alongside Daniel Kim from Wave Tours, electronica band Glendcheck, and composition team Pinominotes.

This is Yesung’s first comeback in seven months after releasing his repackaged album, Floral Sense, which is a special version of his first full album, Sensory Flows.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
