Songstress Sunmi is back with the new digital single “Balloon In Love” and its mesmerizing music video on June 13th at 6 p.m. KST!
The track is a brit-rock song with a dynamic band sound that expresses a heart inflating with feelings of love like a balloon. While the catharsis of a moment that feels overwhelming is conveyed by the fast-paced beat, depicting the sense of urgency just before a balloon bursts.
Sunmi’s unique perspective and witty ideas are reflected in the lyrics, as she serves as producer of the record, writer, and co-composer of the song herself.
The music video is a departure from Sunmi’s previous works which are defined by an unconventional and sensual image. However, “Balloon In Love” shows a softer, more pure side to the singer as she portrays the desire to be with the one you love.
