WATCH: SUNGMIN’s Love Overtakes You In “YO.YO.YO.” MV

Sungmin, the Super Junior-member-turned-trot-singer, returned with his new single album YO.YO.YO. on August 22nd at 6 p.m. KST!

The lead track, also entitled YO.YO.YO.”,” is a newtrot genre song that combines an upbeat sound with an addictive melody, and utilizes the meme, “It used to be like this, then like this, then it became like this.” In particular, the lyrics are the work of the famous trot production team A.Coma and reflect the feeling of finding love and changing in a good way.

The music video for “YO.YO.YO.” captures Sungmin’s humorous appearance as he undergoes various transformations to play multiple characters that match the upbeat atmosphere of the song.

Accompanying the title track is the B-side “Brilliant Days.” The song is a traditional ballad with a string and band sound. Meanwhile, Sungmin sings with delicate vocals about remembering the first time he met his beloved and promising to blossom in every moment together.

YO.YO.YO. comes about a year and three months after Sungmin’s first trot single “Lovesick,” released in May 2023. Meanwhile, the new single features four tracks: “YO.YO.YO.”, “Brilliant Days,” and two instrumental versions.
