Lee Sungmin is here!
On May 10th at 6 p.m. KST, the singer made his trot debut with a fun and eye-catching music video for his track, “Lovesick.”
The song is a Latin trot piece with a passionate atmosphere along with a witty declaration of love that resonates with the younger generation. His digital single also features a B-side track called “Eri” which explores the emotions of falling in love again with an ex.
The latter was gifted to SUNGMIN by his trot teacher, the famous composer Lee Hoseop, after he competed in TV Chosun’s “Mr. Trot 2” (2022) where he expressed his love for the genre and his desire to grow in order to embrace the full charm of trot.
SUNGMIN previously released a single under SM STATION titled “Daydream” in 2018 before dropping his first mini-album Orgel in 2019 and, eventually, the digital single “Goodnight, Summer” in 2021. Find more photos of Sungmin and “Lovesick” here.
