Stray Kids is back with a great new music video and album!
On October 22nd at 6 p.m., the rookie group from JYP Entertainment dropped the music video for “I am YOU.” The video starts off with the members looking like they are off to cause a little trouble, taking down security cameras and looking around furtively before making their way to the roof while upbeat music plays.
Once the group reaches the top. viewers see the group in a different light as normal teenagers just wanting to have a little fun and forget their problems. The track then starts off with a soft, hip-hop ballad sound before getting into a hard-hitting rap verse. The chorus then goes into a simplified beat and melody that is easy to sing along to.
The song’s lyrics talk about connecting with someone and finding comfort in their presence in order to face the problems of a difficult world.
The song was written by 3RACHA, a trio of members Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han.
