STAYC is back!
On September 6th, the girl group released the music video for “STEREOTYPE,” the title track from their first mini-album of the same name. This release marks the group’s return five months after the release of their “STAYDOM” single.
Produced by Black Eyed Pilseung and Jun Goon, “STEREOTYPE” is based on the team’s signature “TEEN FRESH” genre, which focuses on STAYC’s unique elegant teen concept. The song was made when the group’s members were finalized and speaks of trying to break free from the prejudice and stereotypes of judging others based on their appearance. The group shared, “Rather than judging our color based on stereotypes, we want to let many people know that we have a variety of colors and essences through the title song “STEREOTYPE.” What a great message!
