On July 19th at 6 p.m. KST, STAYC made a comeback with a new single album and a music video for its title track, “Beautiful Monster.”
Black Eyed Pilseung, FLYT, and Jeon Goon worked together on the pop dance song which sings about how love can both exhilarate and hurt. Its music video gives off a soaring summery feel and hints at the melancholy within the lyrics.
STAYC is a six-member group that debuted in November 2020 with the single album Star To A Young Culture under Highup Entertainment. Their third single album called We Need Love features four songs in total: “Beautiful Monster,” “I Like It,” “Love,” and “Run2U (Tak Remix).” It comes in three versions and follows their second mini-album YOUNG-LUV.COM which was released in February.
