Soyou has made her solo comeback!
On October 4th at 6 p.m. KST, the former SISTAR member dropped the music video for “All Night.” In addition to featuring Soyou’s trademark husky voice and great vocal skills, the track also features rapper Sik-K as his harder rap gives a nice twist to the song. In addition, the song was produced by Groovy Room and OREO.
The song has a sensual, yet playful, sound with elements of Latin jazz. In fact, during a jazz piano break, Soyou shows off her ballroom dance skills in a lovely dance scene with a partner. The music video depicts Soyou as a mysterious woman who is able to transform into a cat. She serves as a temptress who charms a man who listens to her sing at a club before enjoying a passionate night with him. The man is played by famous model and photographer Jung Hyuk, who has appeared in various other K-pop music videos, as well as numerous fashion shoots and shows.
“All Night” is a the title track off Soyou’s new album, Part.2 RE:FRESH.
