SONAMOO is back with the music video for their all new track, “금요일밤 (Friday Night).”
On August 14th at 6 p.m. KST, TS Entertainment dropped the music video for their seven-member girl band’s new track, “Friday Night.” Each member is wearing the black outfits with red bows tied to their wrists that we had previously seen in their teaser images.
The song takes on a funky, almost jazzy vibe, with well placed rap portions and a ballad break down. It is matched well with smooth and upbeat choreography. The music video is fairly simple and shows the girls dancing on water in front of a white background that is highlighted with bright blues and purples.
SONAMOO originally debuted back in December of 2014 with their hip-hop track “Deja Vu.” This is SONAMOO’s first comeback since “I Think I Love U (나 너 좋아해?)” was released almost 7 months ago.
“Friday Night” is the first single released for SONAMOO’s three-month long “Happy Box” project. The group will return with a new track each month for the next two months, so fans have a lot to look forward to!
Feel free to check out the new music video below, then let us know what you think!
