Kim Dong Wan has made a comeback!
On November 14th, Shinhwa‘s Kim Dong Wan released the music video for “AFTERIMAGE,” the title track from his latest mini-album, Trace of Emotion. In “AFTERIMAGE,” Kim Dong Wan sings about feelings of nothingness and desolation after a breakup. The song, a ballad track, was written by Min Yeon Jae and composed by Kim Chang Rak.
The music video makes good use of black-and-white shots versus color shots to showcase the main character’s heartbreak. The flashbacks to happier times seem more vivid in comparison and thus the concept of an afterimage becomes tied in the visuals of the music video itself.
Kim Dong Wan’s acting and clear but powerful voice makes this a solid addition to the singer’s list of notable tracks. Check out the music video below!
