SHINee‘s Key made a solo comeback on August 30th at 6 p.m. KST with his second full album along with a music video for the title track of the same name, “Gasoline”!
Written by Key and SMTOWN‘s resident writer-producer Kenzie, the hip-hop dance track features a unique drum sound coupled with catchy chanting. It exudes confidence and ambition as it sings about explosively carving his path into the future with a determination similar to combining fire and gasoline.
Gasoline is Key’s second full album and contains a total of 11 tracks that span a number of genres. He personally wrote lyrics for “GOAT (Greatest Of All Time),” “I Can’t Sleep,” and “Proud.” Meanwhile, NCT‘s Jeno makes an appearance in the album through the song, “Villain.”
Key last made a solo release in September 2021 with BAD LOVE while his previous comeback with SHINee was in April 2021 with the repackaged album, Atlantis.
