On September 27th at 6 p.m. KST, SHINee‘s Key made his return with his first mini-album along with a music video for “BAD LOVE.”

A dance track with a retro futuristic sound, “BAD LOVE” sings of an intoxicating attraction to someone and desperately trying to shake off the echoes that their love had left. SMTOWN mainstay Kenzie wrote and composed the song which was accompanied by a complementing vintage-themed music video.

BAD LOVE includes six songs and comes in four physical versions. Key’s collaboration with Girls Generation‘s Taeyeon titled “Hate that…” was pre-released on August 30th KST. This comeback is a particularly special project for Key as he had personally patterned the album’s style and sound to a concept that he has long been wanting to do.

Earlier this year, Key promoted with SHINee for their comeback with the group’s seventh full album, Don’t Call Me, and its repackage, Atlantis.
