Rocket Punch has finally arrived!
On August 7th at 6 p.m. KST, the new girl group made their first mark with the release of their debut mini-album as well as the music video for their title track, “Bim Bam Bum.”
The song conveys the hope and desire to be recognized through music. It was revealed that “Bim Bam Bum” was created by the same duo, Iggy Youngbae, who produced songs for GFRIEND, Orange Caramel, NU’EST, ASTRO, and more.
The group’s first mini-album, Pink Punch, has six tracks in total including “Pink Punch,” the title track “Bim Bam Bum,” “Love Is Over,” “Lucid Dream,” “Favorite,” and “Do Something.”
Rocket Punch consists of six members: Sohee, Yeonhee, Dahyun, Yunkyoung, Suyun, and Juri (formerly a member of the popular Japanese group, AKB48). Sohee, Juri, Suyun were participants in the popular survival show, “Produce 48.”
Rocket Punch is the first female group launched by Woollim Entertainment after debuting Lovelyz in 2014.
