WATCH: RIIZE Calls For An Emergency In “Love 119” MV

On January 5th at 6 p.m. KST, RIIZE released their new single “Love 119” along with its music video!

The pop dance track describes the moment of falling in love for the first time in an unexpected encounter. It features a sweet piano riff that complements the strong drum line and samples izi’s “Emergency Room” which was released in 2005 as an OST for the Korean drama, “Sassy Girl Chun Hyang.”

Its lyrics were penned by Jeong Daseul (ARTiffect), Cha Mane, Moon Seolri, Jo Yoonkyung while Jason Hahs, Colin Magalong, David Wilson, and MZMC composed the track. This digital single comes around two months after RIIZE dropped “Talk Saxy” last October.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
