WATCH: Red Velvet’s Wendy Starts Anew With “Wish You Hell” MV

On March 12th at 6 p.m. KST, Red Velvet‘s Wendy dropped her latest EP along with a music video for the title track, “Wish You Hell!”

The pop song expresses a decisive farewell to the person they once were and describes the liberating process of discovering their true self to live as authentically as they can. KENZIE penned its Korean lyrics and was composed by Nate Campany, Chloe Angelides, Jesse St John, Andre Davidson, and Sean Davidson.

Wish You Hell features six tracks and follows Wendy’s first mini-album titled Like Water, released in April 2021.

Katherine grew up watching Korean dramas and other Asian shows. Although she first learned to appreciate Korean music through OSTs broadcasted locally, it wasn’t until 2011 that she properly paid attention to K-pop. She holds a fondness for SEVENTEEN and NCT and would recommend (G)I-DLE, Dreamcatcher, and XG to whoever cared to listen. She reads just about anything and is currently easing back into full novels.
