On November 13th at 6 p.m. KST, Red Velvet released their third studio album along with a music video for its title track, “Chill Kill.”
Written by SM hitmaker KENZIE, the song talks about the sudden shift in a relationship with the appearance of a “chill kill” or “an event or being that breaks the silence.” According to the agency, the pop dance song features “bold bass movements, string melodies, gorgeous and dreamy synths, and bell sounds.” It was composed by KENZIE, Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers, Moa “Cazzi Opeia” Carlebecker, and Ellen Berg.
Red Velvet’s third full album has a total of 10 tracks and comes around six years after their second studio album Perfect Velvet was released in November 2017. They previously returned with the EP The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday in November 2022 with the lead song, “Birthday.”
