On August 16th at 6 p.m. KST, Red Velvet dazzled with the release of their latest mini-album and a music video for its title track, “Queendom.”

The pop dance track was written by Jo Yoonkyung and composed by minGtion, Anne Judith Stokke Wik, MoaCazzi OpeiaCarlebecker, and Ellen Berg. Accompanied by a vibrant and magical music video, the song encourages the listeners to believe in their genuine selves as all of them are kings and queens in their own right.

Red Velvet’s Queendom is the group’s sixth mini-album and is available in two physical versions: “Girls” and “Queens.” Aside from the lead single, there are five more songs featured in its tracklist: the uptempo pop dance “Pose,” the electropunk “Knock on Wood,” the R&B pop track “Better Be,” the medium tempo “Pushin’ N Pullin,” and the slow tempo R&B ballad, “Hello, Sunset.”
