Red Velvet is back with a new song and MV!
On August 18th at 6 p.m. KST, the popular girl group from SMTOWN released a new video for the group. “Rebirth” is a remake of the classic hit by Yoon Jong Shin and was released as part of the company’s special project, SM STATION. It is described as a “medium tempo song with retro beats and synth sounds.” The lyrics are said to express the thrilling and sweet feeling of falling in love.
The simple MV is done in a one-shot style, allowing viewers to experience the viewpoint of a teacher that walks into a room and has all the female students fall in love with him. The MV is simple but cute and perfectly captures that nostalgic, innocent feeling of young love.
